OO Gauge Model Railway With All The Bells And Whistles

This video shows a day in the life of an OO gauge model railway.

The model railway is named “Rushmede” and is based on Paddington.

It is a fully DCC controlled model railway using MERG software and model train control modules.

The software controls all the signals, points, interlocking and route selection.

The DCC command station and handsets are NCE.

This model railway took over 3 years to complete. Brian Martin (owner) has over 60 years of model railway building experience.

    Congrtaulations on a fantasic layout. May I suggest that the captions are up for a bit longer.

    I’m constructong a joint GWR/LMS branch line round my study, inspired by boyhood memories of the Longbridge – Halesown Branch, on which the the GW ran the workers trains (with Dukedogs) and the LMS the goods with 0-6-O’s, altho’ I once saw  a Black Five. leave Longbridge, presumably for Rubery sidings .I was unable to follow it as I was in charge of the pram.
